Who can use this
A signed-in account with Reader tools.
Steps
- Open the public Book from Discover and choose Want to Read. Sign in if asked.
- Open My Reading to find the saved Book.
- Choose Reading status and select Save status to move it between Want to Read, Currently Reading, Read or Did Not Finish.
- Enter a Progress percentage only when you want to record it, then select Save progress. This is manual progress, not tracking from another reading app.
- Use Add a private note and Save private note for your own thoughts. Use Write an honest Review only when you deliberately want to open the separate public review composer.
What happens next
Your saved Book, shelf, manual progress and private notes remain linked to your account. None automatically publishes a Review or creates ARC participation.
Common problems
- The shelves are empty.
- Open Discover, choose a Book and select Want to Read first.
- A change is not visible.
- Wait for the save, then refresh once. Recheck the selected Book before retrying.
