1. Agreement and operator
These Terms apply when you visit, create an account or use My Blurbly at www.myblurbly.com. References to My Blurbly, we or us mean the operator of the My Blurbly service. No company registration number, VAT number or physical address is represented here. Questions and formal service enquiries must use the published Contact route.
2. Accounts and eligibility
Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in details and use only the permissions granted to your account. Do not impersonate another person or organisation. A parent or guardian must supervise use where applicable law requires it. My Blurbly does not publish a universal minimum age that has not been operationally verified.
3. Your content and permissions
You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant My Blurbly the limited permission needed to store, process and display it according to the visibility and feature choices you make. You must have the necessary rights and remain responsible for its legality, accuracy and required disclosures.
Private manuscripts, notes, messages, ARC applications and protected files are not public merely because they are stored by the service.
4. Community and reviews
Do not harass, threaten, deceive, spam, manipulate reviews or evade safety controls. Public reviews must reflect the reviewer's honest experience and disclose advance copies, gifts, sponsorships and affiliate relationships. A positive review may never be required in return for access or value.
5. Memberships and payments
Free, Plus, Pro and Premium availability and the current USD catalogue prices appear on Plans. Paid memberships use one-off PayFast checkout and manual renewal; My Blurbly does not automatically renew or make recurring card charges.
Access begins only after a verified PayFast server notification. A browser return from PayFast is not payment proof. My Blurbly does not store full card details.
6. Feature-specific terms
Founder referrals, ARC participation, creator services, Editorial Assistant and marketplace service orders have additional rules. Those terms form part of this agreement when you use the relevant feature.
7. Availability and changes
My Blurbly may improve, limit or retire features and may restrict access for security, abuse, legal or operational reasons. We aim to preserve member records appropriately, but the service is provided without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free availability. Material policy changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise.
8. Liability and mandatory rights
To the extent permitted by law, My Blurbly is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, third-party sites, member claims or decisions made from community content. Nothing excludes liability or a consumer, privacy or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, subject to any mandatory consumer or privacy protections that apply where you live. Disputes should first be raised through the Contact route so the issue and supporting evidence can be reviewed.
