Who can use this
A signed-in account with Author Studio enabled.
Before you start
Use one My Blurbly account and choose only the Author tools that help you now. A published-book record, Author website, promotion, audience work and ARC are independent choices; ARC is not required.
A tool is marked Outcome recorded only when My Blurbly has the real saved evidence described on its card.
Steps
- Open Author Studio. Overview shows the Author tools currently available to you.
- Choose Published books to add book details and a cover for your own website, promotion or optional ARC use. The saved book record works independently, and you can add ARC later only when it helps.
- Choose Website to build your public Author presence and select a published-book record to feature when useful.
- Use promotion and audience tools when you want to plan activity or grow consented reader relationships.
- Choose ARC only when you want to run a protected advance-reading campaign with applications, controlled files and private feedback.
- Read Your progress and Good to know on each card before opening it. These explain the saved evidence and the current boundary.
- Return to Overview after saving work. The cards recalculate from real records; merely visiting a page never creates progress.
What happens next
Author Studio shows the independent tools you can use now, the real outcomes already recorded and one useful next action without making ARC or another tool compulsory.
Common problems
- A stage still says Work underway.
- Read its Real evidence and Current boundary. A draft or partial record does not count as a completed user outcome.
- You already published elsewhere.
- Add a published-book record for your own Author website or promotion. Create an ARC campaign only if you also want protected advance-reading feedback.
- Sales or social-posting results are missing.
- My Blurbly does not currently import retailer revenue or publish automatically to social networks. The journey states those boundaries instead of estimating them.
