Who can use this

Any signed-in My Blurbly member: Reader, Author or Influencer.

Before you start

Any signed-in member can contribute a Book. A catalogue contribution does not create ownership, Author verification or permission to distribute a manuscript.

Have reliable public evidence for the facts. Contributor text is optional; do not invent an Author name.

Steps

1. Open Book Manager and choose Contribute a Book. In Find the Book, enter the title and optional ISBN, then select Search catalogue.
2. Inspect possible matches using Open canonical Book. Use Suggest a correction for a matching Book, or continue with a missing Book only when it is genuinely different.
3. Complete Basic Book Information, then select Save & Continue. Wait for the saved state before leaving.
4. Work through Contributor Details, Classification, Publication Details, Retail and Access, and Evidence. Add only facts you know; personal affiliate links are separate.
5. At Preview, choose Refresh preview and inspect the title, contributor, description and evidence. This preview is not public.
6. At Submit, select Submit for review when ready, or Save unfinished draft to return later.
7. Open My Contributions to see Draft, Evidence required, Under review or the recorded decision. Use Continue draft when offered and follow any reviewer note.

What happens next

Your contribution is saved under your account. Submission enters catalogue review; only an accepted or matched outcome connects to a public canonical Book. It never publishes immediately or grants ownership.

Common problems

A possible duplicate appears.

Open the existing Book before continuing. Suggest a factual correction instead of adding the same edition again.

The contribution needs more evidence.

Reopen it from My Contributions and supply a reliable public evidence URL or clear evidence notes. Save the draft or resubmit when the screen allows it.

My submitted Book is not in Discover yet.

Check My Contributions. Under review is not publication, and a reviewer may request corrections or match the contribution to an existing Book.
