Requesting closure
Use the account Privacy and data controls where available or submit a request through Contact. My Blurbly may verify identity and clarify scope before acting. Closing an account is different from hiding a profile, leaving a Community or ending a paid period.
What is removed or de-identified
Eligible profile, preference and private workspace information is deleted or de-identified according to the closure workflow. Public contributions may be removed, anonymised or retained with attribution adjusted where necessary to preserve another person's thread, record or lawful interest.
What may be retained
Limited payment, refund, payout, tax, fraud-prevention, legal, consent, safety, moderation and audit evidence may be retained for applicable obligations, dispute periods and security. Protected records remain access-controlled and are not retained merely for unrelated marketing.
Backups and providers
Deletion from active systems may not instantly erase secured backups or provider logs. Those copies remain protected and age out under operational retention cycles unless preservation is legally required. My Blurbly will explain material limits when responding to a verified request.
