Private workspace
Manuscript text, named versions, findings, revision plans and Story Bible records are private account content. Keep an independent original. My Blurbly currently accepts pasted plain text or Markdown; it does not promise layout-preserving import.
Current analysis behaviour
The production Editorial Assistant performs deterministic server-side text analysis and presents findings for the Author to accept, dismiss or use. It does not automatically rewrite the manuscript. External generative-AI manuscript processing is not enabled in the current production workflow, and manuscript text is not used by My Blurbly to train models.
Versions and acceptance
The original and named versions remain separate. “Accepted” means the Author approved one exact saved version for controlled export; it is not professional editing, proofreading, legal review, publication approval or quality certification.
Exports and handoff
DOCX, PDF and EPUB outputs are proof files that the Author must inspect. They are not guaranteed print-ready, retailer-ready or accessible for every script or specialist character. The optional ChatGPT handoff copies instructions only and does not transmit manuscript text. Other handoffs require deliberate review and do not publish automatically.
Confidentiality and rights
Only upload text you have the right to process. My Blurbly applies account and version controls but cannot promise absolute security or replace professional confidentiality arrangements. Contact My Blurbly promptly if access appears incorrect.
